Typographic Printable Holiday Gift Tags

Wrapping presents can be so much fun when you have creative and playful tags to add to your packages!  Here is one of my favorite sets I pinned a while back and finally got around to using.  They are from Eat Drink Chic. I printed them on off-white card stock and they really added that fun and festive touch that I wanted for these little gifts.

Check out Amy's post here and you can download the design(s) you like, then just print them on the paper of your choice.

For other gift wrapping ideas check out my Wrap it Up section on Pinterest.

On the Mantel

Recently we had to cut down the ends of my favorite gardening table on the deck so we could have room for a new planter.  I loved the ends of the table.  Besides the great work space and shelf underneath they were my favorite part of the table!  It was made out of wood from an old fence and the ends were old and worn.
Kim at EverythingEtsy had a great post recently with Thanksgiving printables (love her printables series!!).  That's how I came across Catch my Party where I found the "Thankful" printable for the bunting.  With some brown and white baker's twine and the old wood from one side of my gardening table it turned into just what my mantel needed.

Customized Flat Wedding Cards

I'm excited to announce that Shana' Shop on etsy is now carrying flat cards to ask your bridesmaids, maid of honor, flower girl or others to be part of your big day! I have added four new designs to my shop recently.  Three of them are customizable so you can use any message you want.
What a fun and personal way to ask someone to be in your wedding!

A Weekend Project

One of my favorite things about the blogs I follow or read regularly is the wonderful and creative projects they share.  Here is one I came across recently that I just love! I'm on the look out for an old armoire or cabinet door now!  Jacqueline from Simple Home Life  took an old armoire door and turned it into a lovely Chalkboard!

Jacqueline also hosts a great link up party that is always a huge hit!

Tree Stump Table

I finally finished working on my tree stump table!
After many nights of sanding (it was just too hot during the day!) it is finally done.

 So smooth to the touch...
and just the right height to drop my keys on when I walk in the door!
I love that I was able make something functional and beautiful out of this tree stump from Tuscaloosa!

By Hand

Amanda, the designer behind Wit & Whistle, has started a new little series on Fridays where she is practicing her hand lettering skills. This is something I'd love to spend more time on and become better at doing!  The ones she has done so far are just lovely and make me want to start practicing! Can't wait to see what she comes up with for the next two Fridays.

 What about you?
Do you like to write things by hand?
